New Series - Mikado no Shihou - Ch 1

A new project! A bit different from our norm since we're picking up a shoujo manga :'0! I'm a sucker for these types, especially in the historical side.  We would like to introduce one of our new translators, Bernice! Thanks so much for getting this chapter out and we look forward to more from you!

This is also a joint project with Spanish scanlation group, Kurai Wonderland. We'll be translating, they'll be cleaning, and typesetting branches into our own languages! We'll try to release within the same day uvu

"The Shou Dynasty is an era of widespread famine. Kouran, a girl from a village that cannot afford the taxes, sneaks into the palace to steal its treasure. There she encounters a handsome young man, Shiki. The two meet again the next day, when news that an assassin has killed a prince and made off is being circulated all over the country. Kouran suspects Shiki is the assassin, but his genuine kindness perplexes her..."

  4. I just found Mikado no Shihou on MangaHere and loved it. I saw the recruitment page at the end, and, alas, I have no skills to offer, but appreciation - that I can do! I truly don't have a good grasp of the difficulties involved in the scanlation process, but I've read enough to know it's not easy, and I have to say, having read mangas of varying quality out there, I can say, without qualms, that your groups skills are SUPERIOR!

RE: Reading - your translations to English are easy to understand and the words flow smoothly. The fonts chosen are expressive and yet east to read as well. RE: The drawings - the art is crisp, pristine and beautiful. I can't imagine the original art being any better than those you have reproduced. You have truly scanlated a work of art!

Thanks for all your hard work. It is truly IS appreciated and I really hope Mikado no Shihou is on your list of works to be updated soon :) And I think I'll have to stick around (as soon as I figure out how to turn off my adblock ;) and do some exploring here on your site :D )
